Rear Implement Ethernet
What is it?
Implement Ethernet enables high bandwidth communication between the tractor and implement. With an increase to 1 GB/s of controller area network (CAN) speed (previously 250 kb/s), tractors and implements can now communicate high-definition data faster, resulting in better decision-making for customers and dealers. Implement Ethernet is required for future precision ag applications and is a building block to John Deere’s autonomous solution.
This system is required for certain implement platforms and precision upgrades:
- SeedStar 5
- FurrowVision
- ExactShot
G5 and G5+ Universal and Commandcenter
What is it?
Upfit your tractor with the latest and greatest G5 display as either a universal option or an integrated option. This upgrade has the improved image resolution and is the foundational building block for all new Deere technology moving forward.
This system is required for certain implement platforms and precision upgrades like Seedshot, FurrowVision, and ExactShot.
John Deere machines feature a 12.8-in. (32.5-cm), 1080p HD, capacitive touchscreen. Tied with a StarFire™ Position receiver, the G5Plus CommandCenter provides the power needed to perform all of John Deere’s precision ag features. The G5Plus CommandCenter display includes the following:
- View your information with configurable run screens
- Enhanced user experience with intuitive gestures (pinch to zoom), split-screen mapping, and pass visualization
- Access to ongoing software updates that continue to add value overtime
- Straighten your rows with AutoTrac License
