MaxEmerge™ 5e Upgrade

ExactEmerge™ Ultimate Upgrade

With an ExactEmerge Ultimate Upgrade, operators receive brand-new, factory-built row units and can choose to replace common wear parts like gauge wheels, parallel arms, and closing wheels. 

Machines equipped with ExactEmerge row-units, featuring the patented BrushBelt delivery system provide accurate seed placement at speeds up to 16 km/h (10 mph) in the field. Individual row shutoffs to save on seed and reduce overlap. Improved singulation, spacing, and emergence, which leads to improved yield!

MaxEmerge™ 5e Meter Upgrade

The MaxEmerge 5e Meter Upgrade Kit is a more cost-effective and more flexible option for a grower to adopt electric drive technology. This solution upgrades the existing MaxEmerge 5 meter to the MaxEmerge 5e electric drive meter. This eliminates the need to replace entire row-units and helps growers get more out of their existing equipment.
The MaxEmerge 5e is driven by one electric motor per meter with a small row-unit controller. This does away with the shafts and drivelines of a typical mechanical drive. That means more reliability, less maintenance, and easier access to row-unit components. Electric drives also allow the outer units to maintain population accuracy around curves, which helps growers reduce seed waste and save inputs.

ExactRate™ Liquid Fertilizer System

This factory-installed liquid fertilizer system delivers the same value as your electric drive planter including working at speeds faster than the traditional 8.05 km/h (5 mph), turn compensation, and row-by-row section control, all while accurately compensating for varying rates and speed changes. 

• Average of 4.3% (up to 12%) reduction in fertilizer costs

Compatibility: 

The ExactRate liquid fertilizer system is available on 1725C, 1775NT, 1795, DB44, DB66, DB60, DB80 32R30, and DB90 36R30 models with ExactEmerge or MaxEmerge 5e row-units. Model year 2025 and newer SeedStar 5 planters with ExactRate require a G5 display and tractor implement ethernet.
