With the John Deere Z700 Series Zero-Turn Mowers, you can mow better and faster thanks to all kinds of features that take these ZTraks to the next level of mowing precision. All Z700 Series models come equipped with High-capacity PRO mower decks with commercial-grade reinforcements and speeds up to 10 mph. That means you can be more productive as you mow and have more time to fit other tasks into your day.
The Z740R model has a 23.5 horsepower FX series engine. Depending on your needs, you can get a High-capacity PRO mower deck in 48, 54 or 60 inches. The High-capacity PRO mower decks are built to last out of strong 9-gauge steel with commercial-grade reinforcements. The mower’s large surface area and Tweel tires make for the smoothest ride around. Plus, the Tweel helps the mower to perform better on slopes and gives it extra durability and reliability.
The operator station on the ZTrak Z740R is designed to provide comfort, visibility, and ease of use. The standard high-back seat comes with a fully adjustable mechanical suspension. It has a custom dial that you can use to program your weight for a more personalized and comfortable ride. For even more personalized comfort, you can adjust the foot platform to three different positions. Adjusting doesn’t require the use of tools, so it’s easy to quickly adjust the platform to your liking. This makes the Z740R suitable for operators of all sizes. When you’re done mowing for the day, you can detach the platform for easy access to the mower deck.
When it comes to the Z740R, Deere thought of everything — including optimizing the parking brake. To make your mowing experience that much better, you can now hear an audible click when the brake is engaged. All you have to do is push the steering levers outward to automatically activate the brake. Simply pull the sticks inward when you’re ready to get mowing again!
All other controls on the John Deere ZTrak Z740R are color-coded to be as user-friendly as possible. They’re easy to identify and operate, plus they’re positioned perfectly for convenient access.
One of our favorite features of the Z740R is the option of Tweel Turf airless radial tires. As we mentioned above, the tweel tires contribute to the reliability and ride quality of the zero-turn mower- but we want to break it down further. These tires make the ride more comfortable by reducing bounce as you mow, which also helps with performance. The tweel tires have more support across the surface for better ground contact, so rutting doesn’t need to be a problem. These tires also make it easy to climb curbs like no other mower has been able to do. They provide consistent cut quality, improved uptime, and reduced cost of operation.
