Prior  work experience:  John Deere Des Moines Works in 1998 & 1999 as a Tillage Master, John Deere Company Minneapolis from 1999-2004 as a Territory Aftermarket Manager and a Territory Manager, Broshar Implement in Kanawha Iowa as a John Deere Salesman in 2004 & 2005.

Family:  Wife:  Sheri; Son: Hudson; Daughters: Hadley & Harper;  Son: Hank.  Parents Mie and Ruby Artz farm 4500 acres in Northern ND (Wheat, Barley, Sunflowers, Canola, and Field Peas) – Predominantly John Deere Equipment. 

Education:  Attended NDSU (North Dakota State University, Fargo, ND) from 1992 – 1997; Bachelor of Science in Ag & BioSystems Engineering.  Played football for NDSU from 1992 – 1996; Elected Team Captain in 1996.

Hobbies: Golfing and spending time at the lake in the summer months;  Ran my first and last marathon in June of 2000 in Duluth, MN;  4 hours, 28 minutes;  Attend a DIV I college football game annually with 3 college friends;  So far visited Iowa, Iowa State, Nebraska, Wisconsin, and USC
